unpaid leave/medical leave was created by suhasinee
hi,
1.During employee leave application, only Annual leave displays. how about medical leave or unpaid leave ? On employer side, it shows active.
2.when the employee applies for unpaid leave, does it automatically deducts from the salary of the staff ? or it has to be done manually through variable deduction?

1. You have to add leave entitlement for the leave types first before an employee can apply.
2. For now, you will need to manually deduct the salary for unpaid leaves. Later on they will be integrated with the payroll process.

What you showed is the setup of Leave Types, not leave entitlements. Leave Entitlements are added via Leave->Management->Edit

Yes, you may enter manually, or import leave entitlement, which is much easier if you have a lot of entitlements to set up: hr.my/doc/import-leave-entitlement.html
