Leave entitlement calculation wrong

The 365 is used to calculate the prorated rate per day because the entitlement of 10 days is per year.

So to clarify, is it correct that for all previous year entitlements we need to calculated manually?

In my case, I should calculate manually like above and put
Entitle: 1.15 days
Earning starts on 2020-11-20
Earning: Immediately
Valid until: 2020-12-31

Is this correct?
If the leave balance is not taken would it be carried forward to the next year automatically?

Thanks

My question is, why don't you just use 10 days for 365 and just set the earning start to 1 Jan 2020?

It is because the employee joined only on 2020-11-20, so is not entitled to all 10 days.

Then you should enter the actual entitlement for the employee in this case, which is 1.15 days for the remaining period.

Ok, got it.
So for all previous year entitlements, it cannot be prorated, we need to calculate the entitlement period and enter manually.

Looks like a bug to me tho ;-)

Logically, you already said that the employee is NOT entitled to 10 days due to the joining date, yet you still argue that this is a bug, go figure.
